I never take my bike to the bar... I have a tendency to have a couple and I won't ride after drinking a single beer. Now everywhere else... well I have panniers on my VFR... best thing I ever purchased IMHO.

Ok.. I know im gonna get it good for this , but here it comes..

I love you all, y'all are like a family to me, some good, some bad, black sheep, white bishes, and addicts over all.. including the hotties... but I must ask

is it with the drinking and riding?
why would we go to a club on "the bike" I know we want to impress them hoes..
why do we wanna have meets at bars? I know we wanna have a good time..
this goes.. hand and hand with the busa_drunk bevo's cousin.. garfield, ogre, or shrek whatever his hame is..

I have had a blast at the meets, i'm not pointing fingers, but I care about you all, and everytime I read riders go down, I think of this.

now chew me off mofos !

PS: by the way... you think those boxes below would look good on my Bee??

If I'm going out someplace like that I'll usually just leave the gear at home.

He is....the most interesting man in the world!

In the past I would leave it with the doorman, but then would end up getting so up I forget it. So now I just leave the gear on, I found it actually gives me quite an advantage when I'm delivering an beatin

Don't let NewRider find out that you let someone else carry your gear.

He would be devastated, he was just bragging the other day that he was the only one.

Well the bartenders were willing to watch my helmet. But I talked to my buddy and he just put the stuff in the band's green room. I guess I need to figure something out. My bags dont lock. And they arent quite wide enough to stick my helmet in anyway. Regardless I had 2 bears over 4 hours and enjoyed the show. The turn out was pretty bad but I guess it was because it was a thursday.

Check out how the helmet lock works there are also after market locks, consider buying a semi disposible helment a $150 HJC, or lesser.
I have also used semi long but thin shank pad locks from home Depot, and maybe a light cable, run it though the jacket sleeves, or check the materail at the base of your jacket, I drilled a 1/4" hole through a plastic pad on a Joe Rocket mesh, and I can pass the shank of above metion lock through it, then to a light cable,
Bungy cord it down to the seat to keep the wind from blowing it around or on to a hot exhaust.

Balance the risk, inexpensive stuff locked even lightly lessens the risk.

It can prove to be a bit of a sobrity test to to unlock it.

Good Luck
