My awesome wife got me a gopro hero as a present for our cruise in two weeks. i want to know what acc y'all suggest for it memory cards extra batteries chest mount hand held mount so on so forth.

Take a few memory cards with you since u will be gone a week. Unless u take your computer with u so u can download the videos onto it and reuse the card. The extra batteries wont be any good without the memory to go with it. Watch the speed of the memory card too. Cheaper cards transfer data slower

My 32g card will hold i believe about 9 hours of vid. Did a full track day recording and when i checked the memory i had tons of space left.

One battery will have approximately 2 hour of battery life... With that said, at 1080p 30fps highest setting would use a 16gb card.. And at it lowest setting wvga 30fps it would use 8gb... That would be constant recording with out stopping the video....

I personally have (1)16gb class 6 card and (1) 8g class10 card

Class 10 card have a faster transfer speed and more reliable so when I know I want good slow motion video or have a lot of fast movement I use that card...

Class 4 is the minimum requirement but personal experience when editing videos I get way better results from a class 6 and above...

repsol ry3der schooled on memory cards this weekend. and I ordered the extra batteries. I did learn that a 50 fender is a bad place to mount the camera you get nauseous just watching the video but figured out how to work it a little.anything else I should get?

For sure when I get low I will get a grab bag I need a handle bar mount for the 50.
