The best part is reading the ignorant comments.

I agree #1. If he would of been on a crotch rocket, the chase would have never took place. A crotch rocket can do speeds of over 200 mph.
A crotch rocket can do over 200mph? Really? ... and if you are being chased, are you going to stay on the highway just so you can achieve that speed?

The only thing the crotch rocket has over cars (on in this idiot's case a HD) is the fact that it can accelerate fast. THAT is what you take advantage of. You exit the highway ASAP and start making turns and accelerating hard/braking hard turn turn turn turn.

i was wrong it wasn't a SV, but actually that tail light assembly is correct for a first gen. i just went based off that. Should of looked harder.

Yep, sometimes I attach a JATO rocket to my CBR to make it an actual crotch rocket. Top speed 282.6 mph certified at the Texas Mile

Actually, that's probably true in this case. He crashed going through the grass exiting william's way, which is a pretty tight sweeper. I've taken it several times, it's by my house. I'm guessing he came in hot and got scared so he headed for the grass.

No license plate? Maybe stolen and the rider doesn't know the bike well.
