Mr. Bevo,
You are a true motorcyclist, rain or shine, hot or cold, sportbike or cruiser. I wish I had your drive to ride, and became less of a poser....I spend a lot of time dealing with issues caused by not riding my bikes enough!!! :(

Congratulations on the new bike. I think it is cool.

As you know, I had a flat in Sugarland on Christmas Day and the flat started on 59. Since then, I've noticed a lot of people have been getting flats on 59 south between 610 and Beltway 8 in SW Houston. Their must be a lot of road debris on the roads or some littered the freeway with something other than nails that punctures tires.

Sipping some whiskey from the old flask usually keeps me warm during cold rides. Try it.

I left the house just before 7:00 pm last night. From Webster - 45N to 59 and up to Parker to visit my daughter. Back south on 59- then 610 CCW all the way to 10 east, 330 to 146 south - the Fred Hartman was deserted so at 145 you can get to Spencer Highway in what seems to be 5 seconds- all the way to NASA Rd1 and took that to HWY3 and back home. I got home at 10:35. (that's what time I was putting the bike in the garage.)

I wore boots, two pair of jeans, upper leathers with a sweatshirt, gloves and the brain bucket. I was NOT cold - WHERE WERE ALL YOU GHEYS??? I sure figured I'd see someone.

I saw ONE HD rider at about 7:30.

It was chilly yesterday am, but the ride home at 9pm was worse for some reason. It was ~8 degrees warmer, but I felt a lot colder in the dark. The sun seems to warm you more than you think.

This morning was a lot better, but maybe the next bike will have a fairing...

Nekkid FTW!
