Help Me Decide

What to buy, have some money to spend and stuck between these 3.

AlpineStars Leather Jacket The GP R, its perforated.

Kevin Schwantz replica Arai.

or a Go Pro (don't really want this as much but it would be fun to have I think)

What would YOU do?

Oooh - I think the helmet is the best investment. It's your HEAD! And you can never have too many helmets.

On the other hand, if you need a jacket, a perforated leather is the way to go. I've been wearing my same Teknic Violator for four years! It's as good as new (except for the bugs).

I know a lot of guys have the camera and love it and use it, but if you're not a photo-hound, you might find that it's more of a hassle than fun.

As far as equipment, what do you currently have? If your current helmet is older or been dropped or abused in anyway, then get that. If on the other hand you have a good helmet but a mediocre jacket get that. Camera would be last on the priorities.

I have an alright helmet, its a HJC and there is nothing wrong with it except I like the way the arai fits better. I also have two jackets, I would be upgrading to either a nicer helmet or jacket as opposed to replacing something shitty.

Get the helmet and can that HJC, helmet makes the biggest difference. Then get jacket, and lastly GoPro hero 2

The Vector-2 is awesome. It might not seem all that different from the HJC in the shop, but 30 miles down the road it is a world of difference. Make sure to have the salesman show you how to do the visor on a practice helmet before buying it though, even when you're installing or removing the visor correctly it feels like you're breaking the helmet.

They are great helmets, but Arai stands alone. There are nice helmets made by each brand, but even the best lack the little things that make Arais so comfortable.

An HJC will do the job, but Arai is on another level. You'll agree the first time you ride with it, might even tell by trying it on
