Wet spot? Or riding on the yellow slippery paint?

I'd like to see an aerial view of that corner on Mullholland. Either it's a tighter corner than it appears to be or California riders are pretty shitty. Just saying. Every crash I've seen there seems to be low speed and very little lean angle. I'm not that great of a rider but I think I could manage that curve pretty easy.

Heading norh on 610 and exiting for I-10 there is a spot (outside lane) with a bunch of (what looks like) red paint. That spot always causes me to be a bit more cautious, specially when it is wet.

Just quickly lay down on the other side while she goes to the bathroom, and she'll have no choice but to lay on the "wet spot" or are we not talking about the same kind of "wet spot"?
