This was my project last weekend.

394560 2873363591447 1180644355 33255591 127515407 n
373889 2873371671649 1180644355 33255604 520566324 n
380440 2873366191512 1180644355 33255595 1337689575 n
387486 2873368431568 1180644355 33255598 2034897794 n
403020 2873369311590 1180644355 33255599 1009294571 n
377047 2873370711625 1180644355 33255602 1857544878 n

R1100S/R1150RT flywheel and clutch change out. This alone takes 12 lbs of rotational mass off of the crankshaft. I also installed an R1200CL (same internals as the RT) 6 speed transmission giving me an over drive for the highway.

I started her Saturday morning and was ridding her to work Monday morning. It did take me all weekend though.

Im trying to keep up a build thread on my project in the cafe thread. The goal is to takea dr250s and turn it into a cafe styled ujm. I have sold most of the dirtbike parts off and we have a gs750 gas tank coming. My mechanic friend is doing most of the dirty work, including boring out the engine and fabbing an underslung pipe that ends with a reverse cone muffler. The finished product will be light and sassy. I cant wait!
