i made a bracket for the tail light this morning. i am going to reuse my dirtbike big ole ractangular light, and use an led brake light/turn signal. i forgot it at my parent's house the last time the bike was over there, so i need to go on a rescue mission.
i need to get a different headlight. i have a big ole harley light right now that has a mount on the bottom, and nowhere to stuff excess wires.
if someone has, or knows of an sv650 naked headlight, that would be great. i remember how much space mine had in there. i could probably stuff my helmet in there. derp.

the road less travelled is usually so because of difficulties or dangers involved. im not terribly thrilled to announce i am letting the dirty cafe go. i found a guy on cl who is interested in trading for his cb750. im adding a little money to the trade. but yeah, it looks like its going to happen.
mr.p ill send you back your money. i appreciated it, but wound up not getting anything. the cb runs and needs just a gas cap. i might be going to see it tomorrow. i am a very patient guy, but having a bike that i see all the time and cant ride, and dont really know how to fix is killing me.
ill continue working my extra job to fix up the cb. im thinking a new seat, new bars at least. im going to keep my spiffy bar end turn signals and led tail light for the cb.

my compadre and i have worked out a pretty nice little.solution to bob my bike.
i never ever thought i would have or want a bobber.
im thinking i might get the small battery that procycle sells.
maybe a small box under the seat would be good for the electronics. im going to get a bobber seat, hinge, and springs. we are going to redo the wire harness.
meanwhile, the bike is still for sale. if you are interested in the danged thing as a cafe, let me know. if you want it, send me an offer.

imagine this as the tape being welded in tubing and the frame chopped. the seat is only a mocked up headrest cushion from a carseat. think this will go well.

Its like 2 different bikes really. if i had the skills id weld some pipe in as a new tail a little lower and re cafe it. the bobber is really cool looking in person. looks a bit goofy but with a small cruiser tank it would be sweet
