A quick pic for my adoring multitudes of fans
C360 2012 06 22 23 04 54
the rear end is mostly done. i need to get some washers or something on a bolt thats about 1 inch too long and throw the chain back on, but there it is.

i hope to make progress with the stupid front end soon. not really liking the idea of shortening the Dr forks. would still like to find something shorter stock, that works out with my wheel and some brakes.

anyone know a good bike salvage yard in the conroe area?
it would be great to haul the bike there and test fit a few things one day.

Azn, i cant remember, what area are you in? If we ever do hook up for a ride it will be tough to see from all the tears being shed over my poor ole vfr. i might have to trade bikes with you for some of the ride. oh, how is the vfr treating you as a first bike?

any rolling burnouts yet? :p

Lol. someone wanna give me like 500 bucks so i can go ride with azn?
thanks for the comments. this has been going on so long and so slowly i forget my goals. once in a while i can steal a moment for myself in the garage and do something. taking pics and seeing how nice they look reminds me what i have and what little i really have left to do.

yesterday i got a couple of layers of the new blue metallic on the tank, white on the sides, and a couple of coats of clear. pics to follow in a moment. i need to sand it still.
im planning to maybe ad another coat of blue and a couple more coats of clear on the top of the tank. i do actually want to keep it slightly beaten up, but i will be riding with a nice magnetic tank bag, so i want to make sure i have the paint all nice and protected on the top.

Bike is looking great. Gimme an email and Ill donate $25 via paypal to help you finish the project. For a while I wasn't sure you were gonna pull it off.

Another suggestion, get a good welder to do some free work for free advertising and get your subframe reworked to match the tailsection.
