BMW riders

So how many Beemer riders do we have on the forums now? Anyone seen the girl who had a beemer back in the day (hung knows her name)? She rode a sunday ride with Frank one time.

Anyone getting the new 2012? I so want it, but truly love my little pocket rocket!

I did hear they will have a blue one coming out and being a true blue fan, I might just have to break down and get it!

Yeah i think she lives in the same complex as Hung!

I've read a few reviews for the 2012 model, a few changes here and there but mostly the same engine and frame, i would love to get another S1k whenever they come up with a completely new and improved bike just like the ducati did with the 1199.

the big thing BMW is pushing is their Geometry changes. claims that the handling will be better with the newer version.

Meaning where are they built. I love the BMW 650 motard that was sold here for a while. I have also seen a few older shots of a 450 motard, although I dont believe it was sold here (or anywhere else). There was a lot of prior discussion about the bikes made in China (and other countries). If in China, I am wondering if production and other models may increase.

Probably out of place for this thread, sorry. I don't own a BMW, but might if the tard comes back.

From their wili page.

"All BMW Motorrad's motorcycle production takes place at its plant in Berlin, Germany, although some engines are manufactured in Austria, China, and Taiwan."

The girl you guys are asking about is Ashleigh. Unfortunately she moved at the end of summer to Dallas for work. Helped her put her S1000RR in the back of a box trailer and said my farewells. She was a beast, and yes, those are heels.
