Soon to be converted Yz450

I just got a nice deal on an 05 yz450 that I'll be making street legal. What equipment do you guys recommend? I'm fixing to start ordering parts and wanted to get some input. It'll mainly be used for playing on the back roads out here in SHNF.

They have many other kits available...i found that ordering a kit was much cheaper than piecing it together!

Yeah I saw that kit and thought about it but I wanted to get some opinions on what others were running first.

It's a dirt bike they're meant for dirt! I suggest building a table top in the back yard!

I'd just order the bare minimum instead of the whole kit that includes blinkers and everything. I ended up doing the wiring myself and not needing any of the wiring harnesses but it was on a drz.

procycle.us has some lace em yourself wheel kits available, and they won't take months to get to you like they will with motostrano.

You will have to do some searching but I would also go with a small lithium battery that will fit in the airbow. And led headlight and brake light. I used the 10 dollar led strips from autozone for my brake and running lights and it works perfect.

Check out www.epicmotorsports.com for a kit. They're pretty reasonable and everything is on sale this month - or so I hear.
