Just did mapquest. It is over 230 miles from Corpus too. Man, what is the deal? We are driving 9 hours to ride maybe a little over two hours.

A little history behind this track, it was SUPPOSED to be a F-1 worldclass circuit (grandstands and all)..... the county was supposed to help with the funds and when that all fell through, the original ower went bankrupt on the project for the most part and it sat dormant for a few years. Glad to see the new owner making something of it......

Yea but, I'm really starting to like TWS (Texas World Speedway).
It's the one track I've not slid across (knock on wood)
But to have an additional track that close is going to be nice.
