Thumbs up NOLA!!!

Went by NOLA Motorsports Park today. Still a HUGE AMOUNT of work to do, but I must say, from what I could see, it will be an EXTREMELY NICE FACILITY when it is done. Trucks in and out the entire time I was there, so they are diligent in their labors, but the emphasis is on quality. I was told they are thinking that possibly late winter or early spring as an official open date. Delays have been caused by weather. It is built on wetlands, so water has been an issue I am sure, but it appears that the buildings and North Track are coming along nicely. The cool thing is that the facility is close to all the fun in The Quarter, just minutes away, and regular visitors to the area such as myself, know all the good restaurants close to the track. I will be back over here after the New Year, so look for an update. Sorry, but I am "old school", and do not use a dumb phone, so no pictures right now, but trust me when I say, "When it opens, it will be worth the trip!!"
