Looked like he was in a rush to get to the bike shop. I noticed his front break fluid was low and dirty. Seemed like he never used his front break.

Oh front brake is being used all the time...trust me
Thing is, Greek roads are so slippery even letting off the throttle can lock your rear wheel. Let me put it this way, wet roads in Houston have more traction than dry roads in Greece............no joke
What's more impressive is not the lane splitting, everyone does that that there, it is the wheelies and slides that are impressive as with those roads you do not know what the end result will be, despite being your body position that usually dictates that.

I wonder if lane splitting like the Greeks would make you a better rider in traffic at the track... level three off the grid... lol not my ideal place to practice.. only in CA.. Wow... Craig I once was pulled and didn't actually know it wasn't legal when I came here and rode here. I said to the officer I thought it was like riding in CA and he said.. no they smoke dope in CA, and gave me a warning...lol.... I was laughing so hard after because he was so serious... but he then said this..what makes you so special.. and I told him.. I ride a Moto..if people want to or don't like it they should ride a bike too. I know people who lane split in their cars. not to mention those crazies who are not even paying attention.. I would rather be on the defensive riding.... leaving half the risk behind me... rather see it coming and attempt to react, than the alternatives.. Hate Houston Traffic.. To each his own...

Ha, you got off lucky Ryan! I was raised in CA, but I don't smoke anything other than cigarettes. My dad has a house in Palos Verdes lol, but I am not rich. I think lane splitting should be legal if traffic is in gridlock. I don't agree with people doing it at 100mph+. They will cause a crash. People change lanes without signaling on their phones while texting all of the time. (trying to catch it on video). Hope to hang out with you at the track next season! Hopefully you can help me get my lap time down.

After looking at this video I must make a correction. This is not so much "lane splitting" but more "lane passing" (done incorrectly at that). My biggest fear as a motorcyclist is situations such as this. Where you attempt to pass a car (legally of course) and the car you are trying to pass does something that forces you to either brake hard or "gun it", especially on those back roads with one lane of traffic both ways. I'm not saying the biker was right or wrong, but I can say that I have had close calls like this before and all I was trying to do was make a simple and legal maneuver. You guys and gals please stay safe out there. like that van exist and they are out for blood...
