RIP, high speeds, nighttime, slick roads, foggy conditions and possible alcohol comsumption are never a good combination, but this could easily happen in the middle of the day, sober and doing 30.

My condolences

This is how the public PERCIEVES US. Not how reality is. Cagers screw up to - yes. If a cager broadsides and kills someone I'm sure it takes a while to get over it but when you see a BIKER being stupid which ends up with him taking a digger and you run his body over with your vehicle and the steering wheel jerks in your hands and you feel him clunking and crunching under your feet . . . . hey, put yourself in that postion. Of course everyone is going to PERCEIVE all bikers this way. Selfish and not giving a what their antics may cause to another innocent person. Unfortunately PERCEPTION becomes fact at this point.
Don't hack on one of us for pointing out what others think of us, true or not. Just like when one of us gets cut off by a cager we're quick to title a thread, FKUCING IDIOT CAGERS "plural", and in our view grouping ALL cagers in the FKUCING IDIOT class.
RIP Prayers. I hate this.....

Thanks for the clarification on my post. Exactly.. I wasn't saying that we are right and they are wrong. What is wrong with their comment are as follows"
A) the perception that all sport bike riders are reckless
B) Speaking ill of the dead.. People do stupid things that get them killed
C) Holier than thou attitude that a person in a car would never do the aforementioned actions that every sportbike rider participates in.

I wasn't saying he was in the right and cagers are wrong... perception of the sport bike community leads them to speak ill of the dead. If someone died doing the same thing in a car people would not be like all cagers are driving like id

he stated the rider recently came from the war & had been having some issues.
RIP ,to the rider , sad to hear.

From the comments:

These nuts on those crotch rockets, whizzing by, back and forth, in and out between cars....they make me CRAZY! I am terrified of this very thing happening....I feel so terrible for the poor person in the car that ran over him....I hit a pidgeon in the parking lot one day and I couldnt compose myself for almost an hour...if I ran over a human, they would have to institutionalize me....talk about PTSD.......that crazy jerk on that bike has really ruined that driver's psyche....hopefully not permanently. My sincerest sympathies go out to the family of the biker.....If that were my brother or son, it would make me so livid that he has brought such sorrow on the family, especially at this time of year. Of course, I would be angry at his stupidity, but the loss of my loved one would still render me inconsolable....that selfish jerk has ruined the holidays for many people

People, this is how we are viewed by the general public, and only we can change that view....

RIP to the rider.
Bunch of comments....

More concerned with their own feelings than the loss of life.

RIP to the rider.
