Red Ninja down on managed lanes of I-10

There was a red Ninja down just before Hwy6 in the managed lanes of I-10. Bike didn't look too badly damaged. I didn't see the rider but followed an ambulance from the scene with only its amber lights on !!

How does that even happen? It's straight for 20+ miles!

Cinco Ranch Barbie paying more attention to her iPhone and latte than the fact that there's a bike in front of her - or not bothering to look to the side when she merges into the managed lanes.

Sorry if you ladies have a problem with me assuming it was a woman, but I've seen that FAR too many times out here.

Cinco Ranch Barbie is still in bed during the morning commute.

No she isnt. Dumb gets out and starts texting her girlfriends on the way back from Starcrack after dropping the ankle biters at school.

Trust me - She almost runs me over at least 5 times a day.

The wreck was where you enter/leave the managed lanes so I am guessing that the incident occurred when someone wasn't paying attention.

Funny you should assume that the driver of the other vehicle was female, but the police were taking a statement from someone who I assume was the driver of the "other vehicle" and you are correct. It was a member of the "fairer ".

Yep - hate to say it - but without even seeing it or knowing exactly where it was, I knew it was probably at the enter/exit point and it had to be a {truly ugly misogynistic comment self-censored out of courtesy}

Another issue is Aholes cutting across the double solid. No idea how many close calls i've had from that. I generally let the exhaust scream through that whole section of I10, which is working so far.
From one red ninja that rides there everyday to another, hope he's ok.

Totally agree and is very true!!! When I use to commute to the office via the I-10 managed lanes there was at least one cager trying to merge into the same spot I was riding. Nowadays my commute is shorter and different route but still see that a lot. I have also noticed that females use more the cell phone while driving than males.

Hope the rider is OK

Looks like the rider is the ex-husband of the receptionist at my office. He is in pretty bad shape but alive. All I know is he has broken arms, ribs and leg (word of mouth). He had surgery for the leg and has external fixators put in place. He does not remember anything.

When I get a bit more information I will pass it on.

Hope he's on strong pain medication right now. Sucks.

I ALWAYS assume bad drivers are women. Or Mexican men - they're just as bad.
