Nooo...the 1098R's retailed around $40K. They T. Bayliss model 1098R's were around $44K.

For the Desmo, the Termi exhaust is an $8,000 option on the $75K base price.

From YouTube description...

1198RS Superbike w 1098r frame for VIN plus side and upper fairings. Rider purchased both bikes to make the street legal race bike , $140,000 invested. From the rider " this is a 1198RS when I ride it on the street I put the street side and upper fairings for the lights and the front wheel I run on the street has stock rotors because they don't bite as hard as Superbike ones" "and yes just about every nut and bolt is in Ti as are the axel, handlebars, etc and the bike weight"

Shoulda' bought riding lessons instead.

Its a 1098R. Def not $140k. The bike retailed for $40k and came with a full exhaust. It looks like he has Magnesium wheels, sbk rear sets, and sbk front forks. Def not an Ride Smart just look at the ride height bar, the shift linkage, and a few other bits give it away. This guy just has a small *ick and def needs riding lessons!

I was going to ask if that was the same bike, but clearly it is as the guy starts to explain at the end how he purchased a 1098R and an Ride Smart and had them shipped to Italy...

It sucks that he wrecked the bike, but it certainly appeared that he lacked the talent in the first video.

I call bullshit. Show me receipts. Why would you spend that much money only to make a Frankenstein (albeit a beautiful one) to ride on the street. Sounds like a lot of work taking parts from 2 expensive bikes and fitting them together. Total douche
