Yeah I like the Tuono too... but honestly the reason I can't get one is the same reason I didn't get the 999... I feel that I can't push my SV to the limit... so I don't need more power no matter how pretty they are...

get w/ AF1, i'd rather buy from a shop a few hundred miles away that is sweet on aprilia vs a local shop that wanted to be a duc dealer but lost out and will deal w/ aprilia as a sidenote.

That is strange reasoning. You would not have to push 999 or the Tuono to their limits either to enjoy them. At this rate you will never get another bike. How long do you think it will take you to ride that SV at its full potential.

is that a real backwards way of saying you need to master the SV before you step up?

It is a backwards way of asserting that I don't want the lure of a cool bike end in sorrow because I did not have the skill set to handle the power of it. The SV provides me with a comfortable amount of power that is not unforgiving when I make a mistake which i feel is more often than I care to admit.. I feel that sometimes people bite off more than they can chew because of the cool factor, peer pressure, and other factors. With great power comes great responsibility and i don't want to become a statistic simply because I wasn't ready to handle the responsibility.
