it's just glossy "engine enamel paint" with ceramic, what the ever that means..

i'm debating whether or not to at least clear coat the tank to give it some kind of protection from gas spillage.

i think a semi gloss or a flat black would look good on yours. be sure to get the expensive paint, if you use spray can, it's well worth the extra $3 a can. the stuff that i am using has minimal over spray.

looking at the tank, IMO, i will take the white stripes, it looks better without them. It looks good.

I don't know what your side fairings will look like, but that tail seemed to have a lot of black. . .

i was thinking low gloss, this is what it looks like now... (plus a beer can on each side for intake restriction) i also have a belly pan on the way for it. and some small fairing type pieces to cover some of the motor. any other ideas? im open to all, It dont have to be black.

I'll have to think about that one pretty hard alberto, that pinstripe hides the adjoining lines that aren't "perfect". it does look good but, again, i personally like the stripes, it not only seperates the two colors but, it also gives a little detail and character to the paint job.

low or flat for sure, maybe even paint the frame the same " Rat Bike" look. don't know too much about the beer cans, i would come up with something a little different.

MM let me think, they look good in the center green, how about taking off the ones in the side, the ones that are in the black area, i think that will help.
