Heh, there's one dude there who wheelies a Street Glide, with the batwing and bags still on. That's actually pretty impressive.

Do what?

An XR1200X is $10,999 before tax, a CB1000R is $11,760
A Dyna Glide Street Bob is $12,999, a GSXR1000 is $13,799.
I think you're a bit mis informed...l

Wrong sir. It's the type of Harley. The more expensive Harley's are the electra glides, road kings, ect, the type listed above are alike models to sport bikes in this topic

In my comparison I used the XR1200xX which is HD's top of the line naked sporty bike with BPF's, floating brakes and a hotrodded engine. I made the comparison to Hondas own naked sportbike, which is more expensive by almost $800.00.

I also used the Dyna comparison because that's one of the models you mentioned.
The Street Bob is a top of the line Dyna, I compared it to a top of the line sportbike, a GSXR, actually one of the lowest priced top line sportbikes, I could have easily chosen a more expensive version.

You made the statement:

I countered with actual comparison pricing, not empty conjecture.

In response to your other post:
I don't know the last time you went new bike shopping for a 600 SS bike, but a 600 SS bike MSRP is + $10k, i.e. a Yamaha R6 lists for $10,990, hardly the "$8 maybe 9k" you suggest.

So compared to a Dyna Street Bob, it is about $2k cheaper, but hardly "double" as you asserted.

I have to agree with Patrick, I left sportbikes for Harleys about 4 years ago. I went sportbike browsing the other day just cause I was bored, and was very surprised to see the sportbike prices skyrocketed.

Back in 2007 I bought a brand new zx6r for $8,200 (Going Rate)
Now a 2013 zx6r is over $11k, thats crazy
A new zx10r is $15k

Sportbikes are right around an average HD price now
The only thing in HD line higher then 15k-16k is the touring bikes, but rightfully so with all their options they come with......

Most HD's are not suited for stunting, no more than a VTX or an FJR are.
That said, check these two out:
