Valve shims? Any local?

Well called the stealership and they don't stock any valve shims. You would think that a typical maintenance part they would have in stock. Worse part I'd that they charge $10 per shim. Is there any other place that has a stock of valve shims for an 08+ ninja 250? I know it uses the same size shims as the ninja 636.

Well I did some cross referencing and called Honda of Houston up. They stock the shims and have it the cheapest at $5.95 a pop. Wild West Honda also has them in stock and charges $9-10. Stubbs and Mancuso do no stock shims and they will have to order them, with each at $10/shim. tax not included.

This is for 7.48" diameter valve shims.

Dude you totally rock! I live down the street from where you work. You wouldn't happen to have a micrometer by chance would you? I'm not sure if I trust my large digital caliper for these measurements.

If you still need them tomorrow. I've got a box of hot cams shims as well. From experience my digital caliper has been accurate.
