I dont' see the problem. You break the law, you get a ticket. Same as running the toll booth.

I love my dual can Ixil exhaust. When you take the silencers out and blast through downtown, it's awesome. However, they even annoy me if I have them in loud mode for more than a short stint, so I usually keep them quiet.

Still I don't want the nanny state telling me to do so, I can make my own choice. Harley riders however..... hmm.... Now I can't decide on whether I like this idea or not!

Is it weird that when I see a pack of loud sport bikes blasting down the highway, I get excited, but when I see a pack of loud cruisers, I get angry?

Maybe it's a matter of noise vs performance. If you have a loud bike, it ought to at least be able to break triple digits at a rapid pace. If it's loud and slow, it needs to STFU.

, I just remembered the dodge (it was always dodge, I don't know why) pickup trucks with exhaust systems flooring it up and down the sea wall while I was trying to eat on a patio restaurant, seems like one ever friggin minute BRRRRAAAAAAAAA. We NEED this technology.

Cruisers
Fart Can Exhaust Ricers (except the WRX STI and EVO)
Poser Pickups (Except Raptors and Lightnings, and Legit SRT-10s)
V6 'Muscle' Cars for the 90's and early 2000's
'em all!

Am I a prude? Wont somebody please protect the sports bikes so I can get excited when they zoom by?

no bias "excepts." After driving a car with dumped exhaust, it got old after 5mins. I enjoy hearing myself think. Maybe i'm getting old, but if you want to run your "annoy everyone but yourself" exhaust bike/car (high HP or not) take it to the track or middle of your uncle's farm. Not at 2am down the flat stretch of road outside the neighborhood.

yeah, that forum and most of the on it are a joke.

I was on there a couple of years ago to give advice on riding in the hill co. for a local music festival - and was even offering up some free tickets. some dudes started ragging on the hayabusa and then started going on and on about how it was a shitty "" bike and that a Harley would actually smoke it "stop light to stop light." I took as much as I could then let 'em have it with some drag race vids and stats. They got really off at me. One of the admins looked up my IP address, tied it to my company and then called my HR director and complained about me personally - to my BOSS! those douches almost got me in real-life trouble at work.

Great minds think alike.

Dead on with the WRX and Evo. Their exhausts notes are glorious.
VatoZone (and the like) exhausts...don't get me started.
BRAHHHH lifted trucks. There's a few on here.
