I own two scorpions, both the EXO 500 and the new 1100 that came out in September. The fit on both of them is great, I too have tried on Shoei, AGV, HJC, etc. and still find my scorpions to be the most comfortable. It also works out that the face shields between my two helmets are interchangeable, which is a plus. Plus the flip down visor on the inside is nice for those sunny days.

I only fit excellent in 2 helmets, HJC and Arai..I own the RPS-10 made by HJC, the fit is unbelievable, I need chin curtain (big one) in all my helmets, I wear contacts, so my eyes tend to dry a lot at those "freeway speeds" and my compact head size fit inside this 2 brands has made them my all time best snug condom wear for my daily riding

so when it comes to price, you can see why I went with HJC.. half the price of the arai, and a long history and great reputation behind the company

Flat black baby!

Agree on the Scorpion. I've had 2 Scorpions and will continue to use them. Comfortable and affordable. I've also had an HJC, comfortable as well.

I was wearing an exo700(750?) when my gixxer was split in half. Held up well, but I still had a TBI. I now wear a Shoei RF-1100 that is a size too big. I'm looking for either another Scorpion or an X-12 to replace it.

My Scorpion helmet fit my budget and I liked the way it fit. I bought two EXO-400's. One for my wife and I. A couple of months of riding, I just wanted to try something else. So I tried an Icon Alliance. I couldn't get myself a new helmet without getting one for the wife so I got two. What I immediately noticed was the inconsistant construction of the helmets. Both Icons were the same model and size, but one felt harder(like the padding was thinner at the top of the head), and the visor was a lot notchier. I kinda liked the way one felt, but they were both heavier than the Scorpion. I sold my Scorpion to my brother-in-law(his son needed one). I rocked the Icons, switching back and forth between them. So one day I tried on my wife's Scorpion. Felt amazing. I immediatley ordered a Scorpion EXO-400. Got it today. Amazing. I love it. Can't beat the value. I have tried on Shoei's and Arai's, and while they feel awesome, fit great, are lightweight, they are just too expensive. I'd say they are 20% better than the Scorpion at 200-300% the price. Scorpions rock.
ive had two exo700's and loved them. went to KBC once and absolutely hated that lid.

i love my exo-400. i've had it for a few years. its super comfy, quite, fits headphones nicely, and it vents really well. recently picked up a suomy, and while its lighter, its waaaaay noisy, even with earplugs/headphones. also visors are a bit pricey. the suomy is gonna be for street duty, scorpion will stay on track/race duty (it also matches my bikes and leathers). i do like both helmets, though.

2 of the 3 helmets I own. I also own a HJC RPS-10

Awesome quality and construction at an affordable price.

They are for sale, but the only reason I am selling them is because they no longer fit properly.

Switched to the RPS-10 and it fits like butter. My EXO700 is going to be my cold weather lid when I wear a half mask which fit together surprisingly well.

I have an exo 400 and 700. Love them both, the 700 has better airflow, but is also noisier. I recently picked up an RPS-10 and it fits like a glove. Hope to try it out tomorrow.

started with HJC then Shoei RF-1000, now Scorpion EXO-700. The ROI is perfect on the Scorpion. Thinking about the 400 only because of the design available.

Just got the EXO-750. I friggin love this thing. The infaltable cheek pads are cool. Not really noticeable as I pump it up, when I release the air I can tell how much they were pumped. Just a great comfy helmet. It's a little louder than my crappy Icon though.

EXO700 crast tested here. Helmet took the impact of my cluster instead of my face and saved me while tumbling down a ditch. No doubts on their brand.

Actually I came across some notes I made from the wreck. I think both were direct impacts, maybe a bounce or two. I was wearing my rf1000 and it had road impressions, chips and scratches all on the side. No cracks or anything. My passenger was thrown and landed on her back with the HJC CL-12 with about the same damage. Both helmets did a great job, I didn't find pictures of them from afterwards though.
