A bit loud but other than that, its well worth the savings. Only issue I'm having is the helmet isn't snug enough for my head shape. I'm stuck between M and L but the Medium puts pressure on my temples so I'm stuck wearing a slightly snug Large.

Anybody else run into this problem?
You probably have a neutral or slightly round shaped head. Scorpions are narrow(er) helmets, and putting pressure on your temples says your head is more round than narrow.

I posted this in the "Helmet Shopping" thread...

I've had a scorpion exo700 (medium liner, small cheek pads)for the last 12,000 miles and loved it. Definitely recommend them.

Just bought a Sparx small and it's even better. NOT a winter helmet, it vents VERY well, and you can't close the vents... but really, not an issue in Houston (especially since i still have the scorpion). It's also lighter than the exo700.

Once I find an HJC or Joe Rocket for the right price, I'll take my pick of the 2 quietest and most comfy and keep those around.

I have had 2 suomy's, 1 hjc and I'm now on my second scorpion. First one was a exo400 but I found a deal on the 700's so I picked one of those up. Scorpion has served me well and for the price is definality a nice helmet!

How did you like the exo 700 compared to the 400? I have had 3 exo 400's so far. Haven't tried the 700.

I've got a couple of Scorpions, an EXO-100 and the 900 Transformer. Love em both. The 100 is a half helmet, so noise is expected of course, but the air flow is incredible...

The 900 has been a joy. Quiet for a modular and really not all that heavy. Venting is quite good.

Wish we could get Caberg in the US though...sigh...

Been rocking my EXO 700 since day 1. Good helmet overall, my roommate uses my last EXO 700 and can't really complain compared to his old Shoei RF 1000.

Plus when the padding is broken down it fits over a half mask perfectly

One day on Voss I saw a guy wearing an Icon and the trim was coming off the back. More like hanging off the back and either he didn't know it or didn't give a . Other than that it looked brand new. At first I thought he had some weird neckbrace. Needless to say, steered me wide and clear of Icon.

My Scorpion helmet fit my budget and I liked the way it fit. I bought two EXO-400's. One for my wife and I. A couple of months of riding, I just wanted to try something else. So I tried an Icon Alliance. I couldn't get myself a new helmet without getting one for the wife so I got two. What I immediately noticed was the inconsistant construction of the helmets. Both Icons were the same model and size, but one felt harder(like the padding was thinner at the top of the head), and the visor was a lot notchier. I kinda liked the way one felt, but they were both heavier than the Scorpion. I sold my Scorpion to my brother-in-law(his son needed one). I rocked the Icons, switching back and forth between them. So one day I tried on my wife's Scorpion. Felt amazing. I immediatley ordered a Scorpion EXO-400. Got it today. Amazing. I love it. Can't beat the value. I have tried on Shoei's and Arai's, and while they feel awesome, fit great, are lightweight, they are just too expensive. I'd say they are 20% better than the Scorpion at 200-300% the price. Scorpions rock.
I wear nothing but scorpion
