I don't recall seeing it in the posts...

I presume someone did call a LEO and report it?
Anyone happen to actually get the license plate on the truck?

It's sad that they have to go to that extreme just to steal a bike. What loosers. I wouldn't fight over a bike, but lesson learned. Always ride with a bunch of friends. Always look out for one another. happens and unfortunately, it happened to one of us riders. I'm betting you guys that they'll show up there again at ASI. The problem is, we don't know what they'll roll up in. I'm guessing they'll be PROBING the parking lot, scanning their NEXT victim. Well, just keep our eyes out for this one coming guys.

I was reading some of these post from some of you guys and you guys talk alot of t. I was there they didn't get my bike because I was steady waiting for the right time to that Ak from that stupid punk. What me off the most is there people just driving by watching like it was f#$%ing TV show nobody did anything there were more of us then them that one mother F%^ker knew I was a threat and kept the gun pointed at me most of the time. There won't be a next time. I'm always willing to help someone in trouble at least by calling the cops. All the people in the parking lot could have called the cops people that drove by could have called nobody did for all you guys your a bunch of . Have no respect for any of you watchers. I'm not bragging about what I did because if you think about it was real stupid but I still have my bike. The guy who got his bike stolen I never got your name but I'm sorry I got people working on getting it back for you I have alot of connections in low places and hope I can get your bike back.

Anyone have any idea what the law is on tasers? Like what the police carry?
http://www.4siteoutdoors.com/adairtaswlas.html
I'm sure they are illegal some how or another.. but in a situation like that, knocking the guy down with the AK with 500000V might send a pretty scary message to the others, like "that might be a an off duty police officer, run like the wind"
Then as we wait for the police, people could take turns kicking the guy in the for being a big douche

They tried to get the other bike, which is a GSXR 600 06', but they couldn't because they couldn't locate the keys to the bike. Anyways, this thread is intented to warn all riders in SW Houston area that there are bike jackers around and they should be careful when riding around late at night.
We should all stick together and always be looking around for suspicious peeps who tries to steal other people's ride.
Anyways, just thought I'd post this to warn riders. Sucks to be them.

In CASE of getting bike jacked options:

1. REMOVE the key from the ignition and TOSS it as far away from the bike as possible. (This would give the jackers a hard time finding the key) Hopefully he won't get frustrated and shoot you. )

2. Install a KILL SWITCH, in case if you do get bike jacked. The key is in the ignition but, " I don't know why it won't start?" This may be a better way to go.
3. Get a gun and shoot the reggin in the dome when he walks away.

I have had guns pulled on me as well as pulled them on people and trust me. if you any kind of common sense you will comply with what the person holding the gun says. you have to assume that person has nothing to loose and would have no problem smoking your . if you don't have a gun on you, just catch up with them down the road when they're not straped and pay them a visit. otherwise if you have a pistola , as soon as they go to leave.

Come on now, people were getting their bikes jacked way before Katrina. We can't blame every new incident on someone from LA just because it's convenient.
