This is what I wear. It has no armor so I wear a ballistic jersey and knee pads. If it's not in the 30's it's too hot to wear.

the chemical hand warmers put in different places throughout your gear really help out.

Hello Team:

It was 29 degrees when I leave the house this morning. I'm happy to report that the Cycle Gear "Freeze-Out Long Sleeve Top" works like a charm! No cold at all in all the waist and chest area. I am wearing the ICON Motorhead Leather Jacket with no liner (too bulky and tight) plus the MC leather vest. The only issue was that my fingers were freezing. I don't like the feeling of winter gloves (too bulky) and was using my regular gloves with inner glove liners, they just didn't work. Will have to try the Freeze-Out glove liners and see if they work better.

Like JBIRD5363 I also got very sick the last time I rode in the upper 20's temperatures some years ago. Let's see how it goes this year. It does not help when you are 50yo.

Ride safe!!

I already have a regular neck guard and works fine. Will like to try the FREEZE-OUT.

I have the freeze out blalaclava and glove liners, they're awesome, anything between 30-60f and I wear them, besides, my yami with her two undertail heaters are a great pointer, now i'm considering not changing the cans until the cold is gone!

Before I got hand guards I used to put the chemical hand warmers on the backs of my hands between under my gloves. Helps quite a bit with that sharp finger pain that you can get even with winter gloves.

You can usually get the hand warmers at academy for like 8 bucks for a big pack of them. I like putting them in my street clothes under my riding gear. So like shirt pocket and pants pocket, possibly socks. Helps a lot with being less miserable on long, cold rides.

Having a hot drink works for me since I have to wait forever for the ninja to warm up. Gotta love them carbs!
