So what happened to the A group and kickstands up at 10:30??? Showed up just before 10:15, after wrenching on missing radiator support, and everyone had already hauled . :BangHead:

As a member on my second riding forum in the last 8 years I have learned....most of the good rides aren't posted. You find your group of riders that you trust and generally stick to that....

+1!

I seem to have more fun and less worries when it is 5 or so, and we know how each other ride. Still a variance between slow and fast, but we know ahead of time and make allowances for it.

I'll be gone hunting next weekend. I'll go the following weekend though, if you're still going to be in town.

Group B was fine. I had KSU @ 10 posted in that thread, and that's right when we left (maybe 10:05). Sorry group A lost momentum, but if y'all had showed up for the meet-n-greet 9-10 like we posted, you'd have joined a great ride.

It was either fix the radiator or make the meet and greet...

Good to see that this ride didn't include any trips to the hospital.

Yup. We had one minor incident, but it was well-managed at the scene, the bike was made rideable within minutes, and the group was only held up 15-20 minutes at most. Nice, soft, grassy run-off. Hooray!

I would like to apoligize to all of the riders scheduled to ride in group A.
I shouldn't have even offered to help organize the ride.
I thought that 3 days notice would have been enough for people to reschedule accordingly. Obviously I was mistaken.

I hope you can all forgive me :eh:
