My hurts a little too, but just because I took 249 and Beltway home from Tomball. Booooring!

The day was great. One minor mishap in the first 30 or so miles (apparently Yamaha makes lawnmowers now ), but after straightening the shifter he was ready to finish out the day.

Sorry if it was a longer day than some had planned for, but the weather was perfect and the riding group that turned out was pretty good. Thanks to EVERYONE for following the rules - it paid off with smiles all around.

Next time, planning for a ride shouldn't be as hard as this was. On other boards, we don't usually post up "hey, who wants to go for a ride". Instead, we post a time, place, and potential route/timing, then people either show up or you go by yourself if nobody shows. Having a plan before posting is VERY helpful. Sorry if I totally hijacked your ride, Gideon!

Awesome ride, guys.
Rebecca did such a great job leading the group.
After we weed some out, the group turned out great.
Everybody was riding their own pace and we had decent speed/mileage.
I put about 325 from downtown Houston.
Left the house about 8:30AM and came home around 6:30PM.
Thanks for a great day.
I really enjoyed it.

Well, except what Rebecca made me do in front of those people...
:confused1

The only photo I took from the day.
This is when the group starts multiplying...

Yeah, that was a crazy mess! I think we may have lost some of ours from the original meet in the mix. :eh:

Oh yeah, my official tally for the day was 284 miles.
Moving average of 54.8, total time 7:11, 5:12 of that was moving.
