Update - I'm riding alone, not 2-up on this one.
The speeds will still be completely manageable, so no worries. Might have a sweeper with a communicator, so that would eliminate the need to keep looking back for the last rider in florescent orange.

Looks like we've got a good group.
Someone has to step up and lead Group A now that SwiftE is out - I am NOT leading the whole group.

Ok, I've got a sweeper all set with the route, so both the head and a$$ end of this train will know where we're going.

We'll be yapping on FRS Channel 1 if anyone else has a communicator...

Green is the ride out there. At lunch, we get to vote - green back or purple all the way around.

We can cut out parts, but it's not as much fun...

95 miles out.
Short route = 95 there & same route back = 190 total.

Long route = 95 there + 126 back = 220 total, ending near Tomball. From there, everyone can split off for home to 45, 249, 290, 8.

For the "slow" riders, it should be 1:45 out there, an hour or so for lunch, back in Tomball by 3:30-4:00, depending on gas stops and punctuality.

... oh, and this is where I remind everyone that if something holds us up, we could easily get caught out after sunset. Please be prepared with a clear visor to get home safely.

...pps-The ride should have started earlier, but at least we brought it down from 11!
