Thanks.

I kind of botched the tail up pretty bad. I primed and sanded it, sprayed neon orange and then laid blue over it. I then watched that freshly sprayed blue melt off all the neon orange. It really sucked. So, now I have to sand the day lights out of it to get it all smooth again.

The neon laid over the existing paint just fine but going the other way totally sucked.

Tail primed with neon sprayed.

The orange is Krylon safety orange in a spray can.

The rest is regular automotive spray paint.

Looks great! Good color combo, it really stands out.

Here's a question for you though, when do you remove the tape and masking? Right after you finish spraying or after you let the paint set for a long while? I've heard it both ways before.

You are having a paint solvent issue. You sprayed the orange on the front over cured paint, but the rear just the opposite.
