Forest ride suggestions
I'm thinking of doing a forest ride for the first time. Can anyone give me any suggestions on the route to take. I want to have a good ride without spending 3-4 hours on garbage roads.

from what i know, the forest route consists of 149 and 3090 mostly...both of which have loose gravel and construction at the moment..
Not recomended for street bikes...dual sporbikes would be a blast though..

149 was OK when I was up there 3 weeks ago.
3090 had loose gravel sections in a few places, but the majority of it was OK. There was gravel road surface in some spots, but it wasn't loose. Near the shoulders, which is WAY off line, you could find yourself in some loose stuff though.
As always, keep your eyes open and scanning. On 3090 it may be best to run the route slow at first to get a lay of the land, then pick up the pace the net time through if you feel so inclined.
