Turn the key off, push and hold the select button.
Turn the key to the on position while still holding the select button release the select button after 5 seconds.
Push the reset button to adjust the brightness of the display.
Push select button to confirm brightness level.

The display is now at the shift timing indicator.
To set the indicator function push the reset button to select one of the following indicator light activity settings.
The light will stay on when activated.( this setting is selected when the indicator light stays on)
The indicator light will flash when activated. ( this setting is selected when the indicator light flashes four times per second).
The indicator light is deactivated in other words it won't come on or flash, this is when the light flashes once every 2 seconds.

Push the select button to confirm the selected activity. The control mode changes to the shift timing indicator light activation function.
To set it push reset button to the selected speed for activating the light.
Push select button to confirm the selected engine speed, the control mode changes to the shift timing light indicator light deactivation.

Hope this helps. If you need help, come by and I'll set it for you.
