Why would you not welcome the incoming ones with open arms?
IMO one of the reasons HSN slowly died off is because sometimes they were less than welcoming of new blood. Do you want this site to go the same way?

Every site can be looked at as a funnel, you are constantly losing people out of the spout as you add them in the top. Hopefully you add more than you lose, making the site sucessful. For those of you less than welcoming of some of the new guys, (and I've noticed that some of you are new guys as well) what are you afraid of?
I think the fear might be of "holier than thou-ness" taking over the board. And there may be a bit of bitterness from past experiences. The board was a bit cliquish as you said.

Most folks over there were pretty cool and should be here as well, most of them are probably already registered here anyway....including me...LOL

I welcome the newcomers. A bigger web community will only benefit the board. We should all give them a chance to be upstanding members of the community and not crucify them for one reason or another.

I used to race with Bobby in TMGP as HSN Racing. Imagine that...

... I think another guy on here with a 954 did as well.

Welcome aboard!

The more people, the better, that way I dont have to keep traveling to 50 diffrent boards, I can find all the same people in one spot
(of course, the bad side of that is when you make a douche of yourself, theres nowhere to go hide)

I first started board-surfing back in the late 90's on the old Speedvision MC boards, where I met a few guys from Houston that only cared about riding. Those guys then tuned me into the Yahoog HSR group, which in turn became HSN.

This evolution of the boards has seen the loss and gain of many members, but most importantly has given people with similar views and likes a common place to gather.

I've been riding most of my life, but some of the friendships I have made through these multiple message boards have tought me some very important lessons, and have allowed me to grow as a rider. I can only hope that through MH I will continue to learn and make some new friendships.
