HSN website shutting down on 12/31/06

just checked my email and found this...

Notice to all registered members,

After careful consideration and discussion with the other site
administrators we have decided to shut down the HSN site on 12/31/06.

The administrators are no longer able to give our full committment to
the site and we don't intend to allow the quality to suffer as a
result. I sincerely appreciate the time and effort provided by Tim, Brian,
Pete and Carlton in helping to administer the site for the past 6 years.
I believe we've done a great job of providing a respectable place for
Houston sportbike enthusiast to visit.

Thank you to all that have contributed over the years as the site's
success has always been a direct result of the HSN members. It's been
amazing at times to see what a great group of people are capable of
accomplishing.

Thanks for the memories and good luck to everyone.

Our reason for waiting until 12/31/06 is to allow time for members to
trade contact info, set up another site or finish any business through
the For Sale section.

Thanks,
HSN Management

Probably positive.
I was / am a member over there, have been for years.

Although not as "freewheeling" as this board, it's members are mostly seasoned riders with a lot of track guys mixed in.
There's a lot of HSN'ers that have been here since the beginning.

It'll be interesting to watch the interaction, I believe most of the rest of us coming over will do just fine.

OK, let me put it this way, RacerX is a seasoned HSNer, I used to use the board a lot too.........but in HSN, there are a LOT of RacerX types..you decide.
