Virago question

Firstly, hello Motohouston .

I'm picking up a 1987 Yamaha Virago XV535 soon, and it needs a new fuel pump. I just wanted to know if you guys knew where to get one? I've tried searching google and ebay and got nothing. I'm fairly new to motorcycles, so forgive my noobiness.

I can get one, retail is $435, your cost is $305. It shows to be still available but I'd have to verify of Tuesday.

What condidtion is the rest of the bike in? You may wind up having to put out more in repairs than what the bike is worth.

Bike looks fine, but then again I don't know much. He just said it needs that fuel pump and the carbs cleaned.

You may want to try Sam's Cycle Salvage just outside of downtown. They might have something used for a lot less. shop around bc that bike isn't worth enough to throw too much into it. GL

Also, theres another salvage yard near 45/telephone is Sam's can't help you out but I don't remember the name.
