Lawsuit for Leaving a BAD REVIEW...

Long story short, I had to get a key made for my motorcycle. TEXLURCH helped me get my ignition off, and we took it to Houston Safe and Lock
10210 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77042
. Guy quoted me 10-20 bucks for a kye made with the code. He saw the code and decided to rip me off with "This isn't the rite code. It is going to be 2 hour labor to get the key made." That's when TEXLURCH sensed the red light and called JAPAWHAT02, who recognized the code and offered the help.

So we walk out of there, and I left business a bad review (as it deserved) for trying to jip me. Couple of friends, suggested me to open a thread on here as well but I didn't care for it until; I recieved a call from HOUSTON SAFE and LOCK today threatening to file a lawsuit against me for a leaving a bad review. I laughed at the guy and told him, I will be sure to spread the word.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Call JAPAWHAT02 for your locksmith needs and avoid Houston Safe and Lock. On the side note, do i need to worry about a lawsuit?

That sounds like an issue between them and Google's Terms of Service:

If I were you, I would file a case with the BBB. It only takes a few moments to do, and by doing so, BBB acts as an arbitrator on getting the issue resolved.

The sad thing is he called them 3 or 4 times, spoke with different people each time, and got a different quote each time.

Then the fat guy in the front who wanted to act like a "know it all" tells us the code is inside the lock cylinder.. even tho we had already spoke to someone else there and they said it was on the outside.

All in all a waste of 30 minutes of driving. It took Jeremy about 2 minutes.

go to the BBB. also, truth is a bulletproof defense against libel suits.

Seems to be a sign of the times, ratings are no longer accurate. I had a moderate service problem at Wiesner in Conroe and left an accurate rating on their survey, many good points, but some less than perfect. Not only did we get harrasing email from them, but even a threatening phone call. Talked to GM and they backed the dealer. Apparently less than perfect ratings from customers indicates a customer with an attitude and are disregarded.

Same story, they wanted $75 to cut a key for my wr250x even though I had the code. I told em to get bent, taking my business to the dealer. Those douchebags take what they can get acting like being a locksmith or cutting a key is some kind of magical hard core better get in line and beg for their services kinda work. C'mon, I've seen a key punched from a code before. It's a job, like any other, it takes training and skill, get over yourselves. em for threatening lawsuit.

lol... i have two.

Its my fault really, i should have never sent you to them. I just figured it would be quicker for you to go down the road 5 miles, than me come from 30. Its unfortunate, but most of the locksmith industry is like that. We are working diligently, to weed out the unliscensed, and scam companys, but we'll never be able to get rid of the dill holes who are liscensed, and just dont care about the customer. But thats why yall call me.
