motor shot!!

was rideing out on 359 and 1488 area and my motor started nocking really bad not sure if it droped a rod or spun a bearing so its goin to be down for a while man talk about bad luck i lay it down a few days ago and now this geeeessssssss but i guess if it was goin to happen nows a good time since its starting to get cold even tho i love these days but i left a message in the q-a section i think so if anyone knows where to get a motor i think 95-99 900rr all fit or even an 1100xx oh yea or just had experance with pulling motors i would be thankful for any sugestions anyone might have

93-99 900rr motors will fit the same. I had a 93 and went up to a 99 motor on it and it all worked fine. I have plenty of first hand experience in pulling motors. You just need all the right tools to do the job. Like spanner wrenches and such.

if your not tearing into the motor, just droping it, you should need only like 8,10,12,14, and 16mm sockets and wrenches as well as a metric alan set. its not too bad. just keep up with all your nuts and bolts and where they go.

around 17 to 20 thousand and yes an oil change has been done on it less than 100 miles ago im goin to them tomarrow to see what kinda oil they used was wondering if it was to thin since my bike is older not sure if that has anything to do with it tho

sweet good to know i was a tech for a while i worked on jaguars so im ok and work like this and i have a few tools none specific to bike tho but if i run into something like that ill give u a shout ty
