Thumbs up New to Houston

Just moved to Houston from ice cold Wisconsin. Used to ride all the time weather permitting (only 3 months of the year). I would love to find people to ride with on weekends. Not too aggressively, though (my wife and 2 kids need my paycheck every month). I own a '98 Bandit 600 with a few modifications from Holeshot (power is 85 HP now).
I have been riding for some years now, but have never been in a track. I would love to do so, though, if available around here and affordable.
Thanks.

Welcome to the site and to TX... if you don't want to ride aggressively, don't ride with any MH folks and you should be fine. :laughing6

Never mind Steve-O. He doesnt own a bike.

Texas is an all season riding state compared to Wisc.
But yeah, MH people tend to ride fast on the street and slow on the track..

j joking again!! People I am on meds!! Gimme a break!

I had chance to ride around Wisconsin couple of times.
Good roads.

We don't have roads like that near Houston.
But if you ride out, it's not THAT bad (at least we have warmer weather).
Good luck finding reliable riding buddies and enjoy your ride.
Welcome.

Cheesehead, huh?? J/K! What part of Wisconsin? I use to ride in southern Wisconsin (Lake Geneva) when I lived in Chicago. I know what your feeling having short riding seasons. Weather here is permissable to ride whenever it is dry, but if it dips below 40 I'm a sally now. Only about 2 months of cold weather around here, and even that ain't too bad. Welcome
