Should I or not?

Looking at ebay for a slip-on for my R6 and found a competition Gp for $55. Was wondering if it would be worth it? Sorry but still a noob when it comes to accessories and performance on bikes.

Leo Vince, Yoshimura, Competition Werkes, M4, Two Brothers, Akra. etc, etc.

Pretty much anything that's name brand and has been in business a while is a good bet.

What do you want it to do?
Look cool?
Reduce noise?
Change the tone?
None of them are actually going to improve the performance of the bike, at least not by themselves.
If it is just the bling factor, then buy the one that you think is "Pretty".

Basically just want it to be heard for safety factor. Not to big on the looks dept. but can't hurt i guess.

if you still have your cat, it won't increase the sound by much. If you take your stock exhaust muffler off and listen, that is close to how it will sound

Just spoke to my cousin that has an R1 and said a cheap way is to take the baffle off the stock pipe and will sound louder. Has anyone done this or will it sound bad?
