With an open header a lot of dirt will get up in there. Just make sure that before and after every ride you shove the garden hose up in there and clean it out real good. All will be good after that.

This. Everyone knows you gotta wash the inside of you pipes... Its like using armorall on ur tires, to make em all nice and shiny. They don't call em racing slicks for nothin!
