him they already have their mind made up about...
and there are a couple who like to argue with him... if and when they see his post, the will fly...
me, I tend to ignore him except in the political threads where I find him fun to play with...and really, do not take him serious on this kind of ...

its all good, i wasnt serious about my last statement at all. just trying to make a simple point of people blowin things up and makin somethin out of nothin.i never thought morvegil was serious and can see hes been here awhile and was messin around. i do appreciate u explaining the situation to me though as i didnt even think about people taking things wrong because im new. for all i know some people are probably quick to go off from new people posting stupid . didnt think of that before my last post. again thanks for helping me understand, im here to make friends and have some fun, not promote . im sure everyone has enough of that in thier lives.

IMO it is much better(and cheaper) to obey the speed limit on public roads and pay for track days where you can play in a much safer environment...
Do you offer that advice whenthey sit there and stand in traffic trying to commute to and from work...

Should those people also take it to the track with their completely dangerous 5-10mph over the limit?

I'm all for respecting cops and their job...but the traffic bs in areas where people are just trying to get to work, is bullshit. It's bad enough as it is...

This is coming from the cops over here on westpark between newcastle and weslayan, stay in the middle lane and always have 2 cars there every morning around 8...yeah, they are really doing a huge service to this community...

well, the fund raising is a whole nuther story.. like when they sit just over the crest of a hill where if you are not paying close attention and taping the breaks you are gong to roll 5 to 10 mph over and they are waiting to write you that ticket...there are several spots around town they know that they can count on hitting folks for that... it is NOT a public safety issue, it IS a fund raiser... and still, they are just doing their job, doing what they are told...
you can help with that by calling your city council representative and complaining... the instructions to write tickets starts there and goes thru the police chief on down... the guys on the street are just trying to make a living and do what their bosses tell them to do..
this is the kind of thing the mayor and several of the newly elected council members are doing for us in their promise to increase public safety and decrease the tax burden and cut wasteful spending...

There was a major accident on I-45 north/Beltway 8 near Fuqua that shut down nearly all of the lanes and caused traffic starting from Bay Area Blvd, even at 10am. The cops or "swine" you saw were providing traffic support. I didn't see anyone pulled over but if they did, good for them...no need to do 60+mph on a feeder road for any reason.

I would actually put law enforcement about as close to the "small end" of government as possible (law enforcement as the idea of policing the population among itself).

Now, maybe you're saying L.E. is the tool of 'big government' to ensure it's self preservation. That what you meant?
