dudewhrsmybike - That's my ZX-10 & we stayed @ Coyote Ranch...it's on Hwy 16 about 10 miles south of Kerrville. There's several options in the area I guess, but its a cool place to launch from for the sisters; location's good, they cater to bikes & they have food & beer
Cool, thanks for the info. I'll keep that place in mind. Have you had the ECU reflashed?

You're welcome for the info....apparently Coyote Ranch was top secret though so I won't get to go next time since I divulged it.

Yes, ecu is reflashed...wakes it up a little...& re-geared from 39R/17F to 40R/16F for a little more bottom end.

& as for how the riding was without cooling gear...it was worth it, but it was freaking hot & it wore my out.

Re-flashed ECU? on a literbike? why? Was it really noticeable? What gains?

Jim, Kawasaki neutered the US Spec 11-12 ZX-10R and it has no over 10k rpms, and the rev limiter is 500rpm less than what it can be. It also opens up the secondaries longer and sooner, I think. Something like that.
