There's a first time for everything...

Today was a day of firsts for me.

First group ride.
First -to-the-wall ride.
First time riding track.
First time laying my bike down.

Bike is three days old, has less than 400 miles on it, and it's already all rashed up. Luckily I was moving pretty slowly, about 20. Went into the grass and lost control, came back onto cement and hit the damned red-white-red border of the track, fell to the right.

At least I'm okay though. And motorcycle seems to remain fully functional, except for the now-missing right blinker.

You don't need blinkers. At least you got the first one out of the way and didn't get hurt.

You merely added your name to the long list of great riders that have crashed on the track: Rossi, Spencer, Roberts, rukus...

I suppose it isn't all bad, then. And hey, thanks again for helping me out with everything today, man. Especially post-accident. Don't know what I would have done without ya.

And frame sliders.

All in all dude, it was great, although you crashed, you didn't get hurt, and your bike has mostly cosmetic damage.

Absolutely. As a matter of fact, I would ALMOST say that the day was worth the crash, because I learned a metric -ton today.
