Cbr 250rr would make a perfect bike for ya handles excellent . But in
my opinion if u really want start with 600cc Newer r6 has alot power yet sits too wide and height , gixxers
are really easy to ride if u want a 600
But get what u want and what u like .

Ok, thaz very smart. FYI, if u do go to Mancuso 59 south location, look for a guy name Allen, tell him Shadow sent ya.
And if you sense he is not taking care of u'all, let me know, I'll .... (not legal to type here)

No worries on Mancuso, that's where we bought the R1, maybe they can make a sweet deal if we buy another bike from them

I was just thinking the same thing...just watched a video on it and the weight seems manageable, probably even lighter than the bikes I had to ride for my class. Good thing about buying a honda is I could probably get employee discount because of a family member I'll definitely be checking this one out

How about a KLX250SF or CFM230? Drop a cbr250 or ninja 250 and it can mean a lot of $$$ to repair. Drop a KLX or CFM u won't be able to tell u even dropped it.
U can do a helluva lot more on those bike than any sportbike

A used bike is a good first bike.
Also a bike that you can move around and on it easily (not a 2006+ R6)
An SV is a great idea, but not really a starter bike either....it can hold up with the big boys as well.
Whatever you get make sure you feel good and comfortable on it. Don't worry about the looks, you'll make it your own anyway and it has to feel yours. Posers get excited about their bike looking good. Good riders get excited about how the bike feels when they are on it.
If you ride the bike then you made a good choice.
If the bike rides you then you screwed up.
Oh and get used to riding and predicting other drivers..............practice practice practice.

PS: just saw the CBR250 decision.................sounds like a good choice. Don't listen to Byrdman, he's had a change of heart lately

VERY nice. i never liked the singled-sided front rotor look, but thats a sweet ride none the less.
