rider down in alvin

rider down just before the RR tracks on 35 bus. Didnt see a helmet, and no gear. Life flight picked him up. Looked like he pulled out from that biker bar right there and got hit trying to go left. Probably will be quite a few of these until the LSR is over.

The guy is a friend on a friend. I don't think alcohol was involved. He goes by the name "Nightmare". He was conscious when the loaded him onto the chopper. From what I've read, he had multiple compound fractures in his leg, head trauma and he bit through his lip. My friend said he was intebated once they got airborne and he was going straight into surgery upon arrival at the hospital. No further updates as of yet.

Just got an update, so far, they haven't needed to do surgery. His leg is broken in 3 places, hip fracture and some facial fractures. They are currently stitching up his face and monitoring his condition. His heart rate is elevated but not dangerously so. Probably due to the physical stress. They are hoping to not need to do surgery.

Somehow, he rear ended a truck. Not sure how it happened.
