'Bout damned time...

Those of you who know me, or remember when I first started showin' my face, know that it's been about a 2 year, constant uphill battle for me to get a motorcycle. Be they say you should pick your battles wisely...

Well, it remains to be seen as to whether or not it was wise of me to choose this one, but to with wise choices, because I won! Tomorrow, once I get off work around 1ish, I'm gonna stop by CycleGear(?) and pick up a jacket and some gloves. I've already got boots and a helmet. From there I'm headed straight to the dealership to pick m baby up!!

Thanks to you guys for keeping me motivated all this time. Don't say a word about me buying my first bike new, as that actually kind of worked out better for me for reasons. Tons of pictures are to follow, as well as video coverage on YouTube, if you guys are interested in that.

Congrats! instead of CycleGear, try out one of our sponsors! Many have stuff in stock!

They will give you a MH discount the CG will not.

Motorcycles Unlimited has good selection of jackets and boots, they give 10% off for being MH members
2 wheels toyz will do the same, they also do price match,

+1
At the last minute tell the dealership to throw in a jacket, helmet, and gloves or you'll walk on the deal.

I'd really rather go to Motorcycles Unlimited. But it's retarded-far from where I live. Like, a 40+ minute drive. I only chose CG because it's convenient. Do we have any sponsors on the SW side?

That's the plan
except, maybe, for these 30-something degree Mornings.

Word, I'm thinking Speed and Strength jacket, and I'm not too picky on gloves. As long as its a brand I recognize. I'll have my iPhone with me, so I'll probably just pull up reviews on whatever I choose before I buy it. : shrug:
