250cc for the track

I've been thinking of getting a 250cc for the track. Are these any good?

$1800 brand new is pretty good right??

dont't do it man. this is one crappy bike. whats the fun having on track? go to Motorcycles Unlimited they have couple track bikes for sale for something between $2 and 3k. Or just take your R6 (maybe with track plastic?) to the track

I never push it cause I don't want to go down on my R6, I'd rather go down on a beater.

Actually Matt has a Hyosung, which is a korean bike not a chinese bike with years of proven reliability. Quite a bit different.

Max Horsepower 18.77
Transmission/Clutch Manual
Number of Gears 5
Final Drive Chain
Starting System No
Ignition CDI
Max Speed 60+ MPH, +/- 5MPH (Depending on Riders Weight and Road Conditions)

No way you could track that.

dont do it man. get a used ex 250 off cl, or if you can find one a gt250r (hyosung) the ninja 250 is a solid platform, but a small air cooled v twin sportbike is badass

http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/2612229283.html

http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/mcy/2670251308.html

here's a badass little ninja streetfighter for under a grand
http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/2674961138.html
even if it needs work to run well on a track this is a good deal
