THANX all, this is really helping me make up my mind, I still owe some on my bee, and money is not a problem, I just really want to make the best decision as not so much as financial, but just the old vs. new kinda thing. I understand the '09 yellow R1 was a special edition, and they have not made another yellow bike in the last 3 years, including 2012.

keep posting please. all opinions are appreciated.

Bike(s):
- The bike I own
- All the bikes I used to own which I still list so everyone on the forums will know how cool I am

If you spent $400 on the jett ecu reflash you will end up with a better bike than the 2012, unless you realy want tc, and you have to have the different headlight plastics.

Take the money you save from buying a new bike and invest it in your current one. I've read Bazzazz makes an aftermarket TC that is pretty good once it's adjusted properly. Wouldn't be the same or as technical as a factory unit but it would work. I personally dig the bee. My wife hates the yellow color but I'd love a yellow R1 to put next to my '06 Raven. LOL
