anyone have a carpet wet-vac?

So I officially labeled myself a moron this morning. With my usual insomniac self, i went to bed around 2 am, and got up at 4 am for work. I turned the water on for the shower, and sat down on my bed. ( takes forever to get hot water, so its my usual habit ) next thing i know, i wake up and hear water running. I look over, and there is water everywhere in my bathroom and bedroom. I did what i could to soak up water but it's not good enough.

anyone have a carpet shampoo-er or a wet vac that works on carpet? I dont want to have to rent that rug doctor thing from kroger.

I'll pay a rental fee, or buy some beer. let me know.
