There are some restrictions on getting a permit. You have to be at least a certain age or etc. or etc....not sure what exactly they are. The lady at the DPS place I went to said they hardly EVERY give permits anymore. She had to ask what the "code" was to enter it into the computer since they almost never give them out anymore.

I read that a lot of people were allowed to retake their test multiple times in the same day......I heard when I was there them tell people they had to wait till the next business day to retake.

Yeah I got the textile jacket.....wasn't sure I liked it quite enough to get it in leather...plus they didn't have it in stock at the time. I will get leather at some point for sure though now.

its kind of off topic but eximports had a ton of them in leather when I bought mine so I tried them on there then went next door to cycle gear to buy it, saved a few dollars (well more like $50).

I am going to be taking the MSF class. I think a lot of people don't realize you can take the written test at DPS and get a permit before taking the MSF.

Yes but some people don't have a whole Saturday and Sunday to take the class, so the driving test will definately suffice. Either way I would still like to take the course whenever I catch a weekend off.

oh ya clean bike man
